Played as Guerrier. Didn't want to rely on spellcasting. Wanted to play as swordsman but wasn't able to find a really good sword. Found a good "masse" type weapon - Masse d'Haemorrage? - with an automatic freeze spell and drain de vie and relied exclusively on it from the first confrontation with Moriendor to the end of the game.
Tried to play as good guy but joined thieves guild to pick up skill points.
Hoped I could complete the game without relying on a walkthrough but relied on walkthroughs to complete the Dragon Armor quests, parts of the Dr. Elrath quests, and at a couple of points during the Council of Seven Quests, mostly the Dwarven mines part. Used Ladybug walkthrough once or twice but relied more on GameBanshee.
Toughest battle of the game for me was first confrontation with Moriendor. Think Josefina was tough, too, in both cases mostly because of the "hell spikes."
Final battle was not that difficult, beat in first try. Just used my faithful club, my healing spells, and potions de soins.
Held some points in reserve most of the time in case I needed to change my plans. Toward the end spent 5 reserved points on Renvoi des degats in the Lac Noir area. Finished the game with 2 unused skill points and 34 unused attribute points.
Great graphics for a 2D game. Probably will play Beyond Dvinity, hope it's as good.
